and Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home),
won the 2007 Olivier Award
for Best New Musical.
Set in 1963 Louisiana,
this intense and moving story
takes audiences inside a
turbulent time of social politics
with startling relevance to
current cultural issues.
Set to Tesori’s thrilling, genre-defying score,
incorporating styles from
soul and Motown
to ballads and Jewish folk music,
Caroline, or Change
tackles big issues with
wit, imagination and heart.
